YOUR SUPPORT IS VITAL FOR OUR FUTURE

Worcester Festival Chorus has been in existence since 1861 and is one of the leading promoters of major concerts in Worcestershire. We are one of the most highly regarded choirs in the country and have a singing membership of around 160. Like many charitable institutions we are always short of money. Whilst music making is a truly pleasurable and satisfying occupation, performing to a high standard with professional orchestras and top-level soloists is very costly and requires huge resources. Even selling all the tickets for our concerts in the Cathedral now provides insufficient income to cover our costs. If the Choir is to continue in future with large-scale, innovative programmes we need the commitment and support of individuals or companies as Benefactors or Patrons.

For the 2008/2009 Season Benefactors will pay an annual fee of £110 and receive:

•    One front Nave ticket for each of our three concerts in the season in the seat of their choice;
•    Priority booking;
•    Free programmes;
•    Interval drinks and canapés in the Guesten Room.

Patrons will pay an annual fee of £70 for Front Nave or £50 for Centre Nave tickets; they receive the same priority booking benefit plus interval refreshments in the Chapter House.

Names of Benefactors and Patrons appear in all concert programmes.

In addition we welcome sponsorship for complete concerts or for the orchestras/soloists, for which due recognition will be made in the concert advertising and programme.
