There Was a Child is an epic and moving celebration of life. Composed in 2011 as a tribute to a friend's son, it traces a young man's life from childhood to manhood in the spirit of Britten and Vaughan Williams. Emotional and soul-baring, passionate and uplifting - this is not to be missed! The concert concludes wth Fauré's Requiem with the much-loved Pie Jesu at its heart.
